Psychologist / Behaviour Support Practitioner - South West Sydney

About the role

Transform Life is looking for a Provisional or Generally Registered Psychologist, ideally with a background in Behaviour Support, to work remotely from South West Sydney. The role supports older Australians accessing Support at Home aged care and NDIS participants needing psychological assessment and therapy. It is offered full-time or part-time, with reports, meetings and telehealth appointments done from home and client visits within about 30 minutes of where you live.

Key responsibilities

• Support older Australians accessing Support at Home aged care, helping their mental health, wellbeing and independence.
• Provide psychological assessments and therapeutic support to NDIS participants.
• Carry out assessments and evidence-based interventions.
• Collaborate with clients, families and other professionals.

Required profile

• Provisional or general registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
• Ability to work from home and travel locally to clients; a driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check and full Australian working rights.
• Experience as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner is highly regarded.
• Professional maturity, resilience and initiative, able to work independently within a supportive team.
