Property Claims Consultant - Fast Track

About the role

Gallagher Bassett is looking for a Property Claims Consultant to join its Property Fast Track Claims Team in Brisbane on a full-time fixed-term contract of 12 months. The role involves handling a portfolio of property claims end to end, with flexible hybrid working: four days per week from home and two days in the Brisbane CBD office.

Key responsibilities

• Own your portfolio of property claims and manage the entire claims process from start to finish
• Settle claims within client service instructions, company guidelines and delegated authority while maintaining excellent customer service
• Review claim documents and reports to make coverage decisions
• Liaise with government agencies, contractors, repairers and loss adjusters by phone and email to speed claims to closure
• Resolve complaints in line with company guidelines and achieve monthly quality and productivity targets

Required profile

• At least 2 years of end-to-end property claims handling experience
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Outstanding organisational and time management skills
• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously

Required skills

• PC literate, with database and Microsoft Office skills
