Project Systems Representative - Quality (Civil Construction)

About the role

Protech is recruiting a Civil Project Systems Representative to support transport infrastructure upgrades across the Gold Coast. The role is site-based, about 60% site office and 40% field work, and focuses on quality assurance and project systems. You will work closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and construction crews to deliver projects in line with specifications, quality requirements and client expectations. The client provides transport infrastructure solutions in Queensland, specialising in roads, bridges and associated assets.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain project quality systems and procedures
• Inspect sites and carry out quality assurance checks on civil construction works
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications and inspection test plans
• Complete quality documentation, checklists and reports using digital platforms and iPads
• Help manage project resources and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal resources
• Identify project risks and implement quality requirements before work starts
• Monitor project activities for compliance with specifications and requirements
• Review processes and contribute to continuous improvement
• Support Project Managers and Supervisors with planning and delivery, and verify supplier and material quality

Required profile

• Construction Industry White Card
• Current C Class driver licence
• Strong communication and written reporting skills
• Desirable: civil construction experience, preferably road construction; Certificate III in Civil Construction or higher; First Aid certificate; project coordination, supervision, QA or project administration experience; 5+ years of civil construction field experience

Required skills

• Competent with technology, including tablets and digital reporting systems
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Understanding of quality procedures and documentation

What we offer

• Casual role with fortnightly pay, immediate start, day shift roster, 76-hour fortnight
• $42.95 - $48.34 per hour inclusive of casual loading, depending on skills and experience
