Project Support Officer (GPLO) - Integrated Health

About the role

The Integrated Health unit at Mackay Base Hospital is seeking a Project Support Officer (GPLO) on a fixed-term temporary basis. The role provides frontline support that enables the development and delivery of frontline services, programs and outcomes, and sits within the General Practice Liaison Unit, which works across the Mackay Health and Hospital Service to integrate hospital care with primary health care.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain effective working relationships between the General Practice Liaison Unit, Mackay HHS, the Northern Queensland Primary Health Network, Streamliners and other key stakeholders
• Assist and support the General Practice Liaison Unit with administration and stakeholder engagement
• Help maintain key evaluation KPIs and provide administrative support to the General Practice Liaison Officer for KPI delivery and database maintenance
• Assist with IT integration and data monitoring for all Integrated Health projects
• Attend meetings and education events relevant to Integrated Health

Required profile

• High-level administration skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Effective communication with stakeholders so that scope, content and deadlines are understood
