Project Officer - Defence PMO, Exmouth

About the role

Raytheon Australia is seeking a Project Officer to join its Program Management Office (PMO) supporting a strategically important Defence capability at the Harold E Holt Facility in Exmouth, Western Australia. The role involves project coordination, reporting, document management and stakeholder support, with the chance to gain Defence security skills through training.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Program Manager and PMO team in program delivery through governance, reporting, document management and stakeholder coordination.
• Prepare and deliver Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
• Coordinate inputs to Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Contract Status Reviews (CSRs), Contract Status and Schedule Reviews (CSSRs) and other reporting requirements.
• Prepare reports, presentations and other project and customer deliverables.
• Maintain program registers, records and project documentation.
• Administer SharePoint sites and document libraries.
• Coordinate meetings, actions and stakeholder engagements.
• Support local security administration and compliance, including visitor management, site access coordination, record keeping and compliance.

Required profile

• Experience in a Project Officer, Project Coordinator, Program Support or similar role.
• Current driver's licence.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
• Desirable: Certificate IV or Diploma in Project Management, Business Administration or similar; experience supporting Defence or Government programs, PMO or project governance activities, CDRLs and customer reporting.

• Advanced Microsoft Word and strong PowerPoint skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel.
• SharePoint for document management and collaboration.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organisation and time management, attention to detail.
