Project Manager - TRAILS Modernisation

About the role

A large, complex organisation is running a major technology modernisation program, moving from legacy platforms to contemporary capabilities. Peoplebank is recruiting an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery in Brisbane CBD on a 4-year contract at a competitive market rate, with hybrid work arrangements. The role sits within an Agile, PRINCE2-aligned governance framework.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver project outcomes within scope, schedule, quality and budget
• Produce key project artefacts in line with governance and assurance requirements
• Coordinate delivery across multiple streams and stakeholder groups (executives, project boards, senior users and suppliers)
• Establish and maintain governance, reporting and assurance activities
• Drive risk, issue, dependency, change and priority management
• Manage project budgets, schedules and resource allocations
• Lead working groups and support delivery teams across the full project lifecycle
• Contribute to communications, change and benefits planning where required

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience delivering outcomes for complex technology transformation programs, including large-scale modernisation and legacy-to-modern platform migration
• PRINCE2 Practitioner certification (required)
• Strong delivery leadership across all phases of the project lifecycle

Required skills

• PRINCE2 Practitioner certification
• Highly desirable: experience in public and private sectors
• Highly desirable: tooling such as MS Project and Jira/Confluence
• Highly desirable: Agile delivery capability and/or Scrum Master qualification
