Integration Solution Architect - D365 & Azure

About the role

A large, complex organisation based in Brisbane CBD is recruiting an experienced D365 Integration Solution Architect for a 6+ month contract. The role focuses on the technical architecture of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and how it integrates with the organisation's existing Azure environment, Microsoft Fabric, enterprise applications, networking and security infrastructure. It is not about configuring D365 or leading the functional implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the Program Manager, Enterprise Architecture team and System Integrator to give architectural direction and assurance.
• Design and review integration architecture between D365 F&O, Microsoft Fabric, Azure and other enterprise platforms.
• Define integration patterns, data flows, APIs and connectivity requirements.
• Guide Azure networking, identity, access management, security roles and administration.
• Review proposed deployment designs against existing infrastructure and enterprise standards.
• Assess security, performance, availability, resilience and support requirements.
• Review technical designs from the System Integrator, identify risks and recommend improvements.
• Support architecture decisions on data integration, reporting, environment management and operational readiness.

Required profile

• Experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in Microsoft enterprise environments and integration architecture.
• Experience designing or governing solutions involving Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Ability to review technical designs, identify architectural risks and work with System Integrators.
• Experience in complex enterprise environments with established architecture and security standards.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Azure architecture, integration services and enterprise connectivity.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure data platforms or enterprise data integration.
• Networking, identity and access management, role-based security and platform administration.
• API-based integrations, data flows and integration patterns.
• Beneficial: Azure API Management, Service Bus, Dataverse, D365 integration frameworks or Microsoft Entra ID.
