Project Manager - Security

About the role

Johnson Controls, a global leader in smart, healthy and sustainable buildings, is looking for a Project Manager for its Sydney office, focused on Security Projects. This is a permanent full-time position in which you will ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and prepare the deliverables needed to initiate, develop and execute assigned projects.
• Supply leadership and manage projects to meet performance and project requirements.
• Keep project financial status regularly reviewed and updated.
• Ensure high quality of work and compliance with OHS&E standards.
• Manage customer and contractor relationships.
• Identify opportunities and improvements to drive continuous organisational improvement.
• Deliver work with discipline, professionalism and accuracy even under tight deadlines.

Required profile

• Strong background in Security / EACs solutions.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Security / EACs after qualification.
• Extensive commercial security operational experience.
• Electrical trade qualification and understanding of electrical drawings.
• Passion for driving front-line safety identification and resolution.

Required skills

• IT, network communication and PC hardware configuration.
• IT networking understanding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
