Project Manager – Renewable Energy

About the role

An established renewable energy developer and Independent Power Producer is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of utility‑scale renewable energy projects across Australia, from construction mobilisation through to commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of utility‑scale projects, managing EPC contractors, OEMs, engineering consultants and specialist subcontractors.
• Oversee high‑voltage substations, power transformers, HV/MV systems and electrical balance of plant.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, construction and commissioning activities.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, variations and contractual matters.
• Drive construction readiness, resolve delivery challenges and maintain progress.
• Collaborate with engineering, commercial, procurement, HSE and operations teams.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years experience in power, renewable energy or major electrical infrastructure.
• Proven utility‑scale project delivery experience, preferably in wind, solar or BESS.
• Strong commercial and contract management skills, including variations and claims.
• PMP certification.
