Project Manager - Power Infrastructure

About the role

UGL's Utilities business delivers design and construction services for critical power infrastructure across Australia, covering transmission lines, switchyards, substations and electrical distribution networks. It is seeking an experienced Project Manager for upcoming projects in Melbourne, based in the Southbank office with frequent site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and finalise projects for delivery to clients
• Manage project teams to deliver on schedule, budget and scope
• Oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle
• Acquire resources and coordinate team members
• Promote safety and quality assurance, and support commercial, compliance, procurement, human resources and financial matters

Required profile

• Extensive project management experience in utilities infrastructure, focused on power, high-voltage substations and transmission lines
• Project management accreditation equivalent to AIPM, PMBOK, Diploma, PMP or equivalent
• Strong understanding of construction principles in a multi-discipline contracting environment
• High-level business and commercial acumen, with the ability to read budgets, financial statements and analyse variance reports
