Site Manager - Fit Out Projects Up to $20M

About the role

A tier 2 commercial builder is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join its team, delivering commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects valued up to $20 million across Melbourne. The role suits a hands-on Site Manager with a strong background in fit-outs and refurbishments who can manage site operations, coordinate subcontractors and deliver projects to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations across commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
• Deliver projects valued up to $20 million, meeting programme, quality and budget requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
• Maintain high standards of site safety, quality control and compliance.
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve site issues.
• Work closely with Project Managers, consultants and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage site programming, sequencing and construction methodology.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in commercial construction, ideally with a tier 1 or 2 background.
• Strong background in commercial fit-outs and refurbishments is essential.
• Experience delivering projects from commencement through to completion.
• Strong subcontractor coordination and site leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive approach to safety, quality and programme management.
