Project Manager - Lifts and Escalators

About the role

KONE, a global organisation focused on training, safety and quality, is looking for a customer-focused Project Manager to join its Newcastle branch. You will oversee lift and escalator projects across the Central Coast, Newcastle and Northern NSW regions, delivering them safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of lift and escalator projects across the New Building Solutions and Modernisation portfolios.
• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, covering the project from start to finish.
• Keep projects on track by managing timelines, budgets, risks and key milestones.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, installation and maintenance teams.
• Identify ways to improve project performance, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Lead project teams and coordinate resources.

Required profile

• Qualification in Project Management highly regarded.
• Demonstrated project management experience, ideally in lifts, escalators, construction, building services or infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once, balancing scope, schedule, budget and stakeholder expectations.
• Strong commercial acumen, including managing project financial performance and risk.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement; able to work autonomously while collaborating across the business.
