About the role
A long-established stone fabricator in Newcastle is looking for a stone benchtop installer. You will install premium natural stone, porcelain and sintered stone benchtops on high-end residential and commercial projects across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens and the Central Coast. You do not need to be a lead installer; solid install experience and pride in a clean finish are enough.
Key responsibilities
- Install stone benchtops, splashbacks and vanities on site
- Level, scribe, join and silicone finished stone to a high standard
- Handle and transport slabs safely with the install team
- Carry out on-site cut-outs and adjustments as needed
- Liaise with clients, builders and site supervisors
- Follow silica-safety and OH&S procedures
Required profile
- Proven stone benchtop installation experience
- Natural stone, porcelain and sintered stone experience
- Current driver's licence (essential)
- Reliable and professional on site
Required skills
- Confident with hand tools and on-site fabrication
- Strong eye for detail and clean joins
