Project Manager

About the role

Built is seeking a Project Manager to lead some of Canberra's most significant fit‑out projects, delivering high‑quality construction outcomes. You will work with experienced construction leaders, enjoy autonomy, and contribute to the city's evolving built environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex construction and fit‑out projects across Canberra.
• Manage project budgets, commercial performance, and programme outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Create high‑performing teams and foster collaboration across disciplines.
• Drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Experienced Project Manager with a proven track record delivering complex construction projects.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction, Engineering or equivalent trade experience.
• Strong commercial capability, including budgeting, cost control and contract administration.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
• Proactive problem‑solving, risk management and a genuine commitment to safety and quality.
