Project Manager – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Aurecon is seeking an early‑mid‑career Project Manager to join its growing Program Performance team in Brisbane. You will work on high‑impact infrastructure projects across Defence, Government, Social Infrastructure and Construction, delivering innovative solutions for complex challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong client partnerships and co‑create tailored, innovative solutions.
• Lead and manage design and construction schedules, aligning with client expectations and specifications.
• Deliver projects from concept through handover, overseeing scope, risk, financials and reporting.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects across the full lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Regional Leads and the Program Director to report progress and milestones.
• Travel occasionally within Queensland to project sites as required.

Required profile

• Australian citizen eligible for security clearance (AGSVA).
• 4–8 years of experience in a project management role.
• Proven ability to work in complex stakeholder environments and manage competing priorities.
• Strong documentation, report writing and presentation skills.
• Capability to assess contractor documentation, including payment, variation claims and extensions of time.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
