Project Manager – Defence Infrastructure

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Project Manager to join its Darwin Program Performance Advisory team. You will be responsible for delivering complex defence facilities and infrastructure projects, acting as the client’s representative throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple concurrent projects and work packages from inception to completion.
• Coordinate design, procurement and delivery activities across clients, consultants and contractors.
• Administer contracts, manage commercial matters and ensure alignment with PMBOK principles.
• Proactively manage risk, change, cost, schedule and quality outcomes.
• Provide clear reporting on project status, performance and key risks.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification such as a Diploma in Project Management or a degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Australian citizenship with eligibility for security clearance (AGSVA) and a valid driver’s licence.
• Experience delivering infrastructure or capital projects across the full lifecycle.
• Strong ability to build client relationships and manage diverse stakeholders.
