Project Manager – Deal & Risk Management (DRM) Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager contractor to lead a portfolio of Deal & Risk Management (DRM) information systems projects within our energy trading environment. The role combines strategic planning, delivery oversight, and stakeholder coordination to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, monitor delivery milestones, and manage risks and issues.
• Administer Jira backlogs, generate reports, and ensure transparent progress tracking.
• Drive change management initiatives and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across business and technology teams.
• Prepare and facilitate Steering Committee meetings, providing concise status updates.
• Lead Agile delivery, act as Scrum Master, and coordinate team ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven project management experience, preferably in a trading, banking or utilities context.
• Hands‑on approach with strong ownership and accountability.
• Ability to understand both functional and technical aspects of projects.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.

Required skills

• Project management methodologies: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile.
• Proficiency with Jira for backlog management and reporting.
• Agile delivery experience, including Scrum Master responsibilities.
• Change management and stakeholder management expertise.
