Senior Software Engineer (C#/.NET) – Full Stack

About the role

We are launching Walker St, a new data‑driven venture within Shift, and need a senior engineer to build the product from the ground up. You will help shape the architecture and culture of this green‑field project.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable full‑stack web applications using C#.NET and React.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers and other engineers to deliver high‑impact features.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and develop a reliable micro‑services‑based system.
• Ensure high standards of code quality, testing and documentation.
• Support DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming and mentoring.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience building software with C# and .NET.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and event‑driven microservices.
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps tools such as GitHub Actions, TeamCity or Octopus.
• Commitment to testing, quality and reliable delivery.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
