Project Manager - D&C Fit Outs

About the role

A well-established design and construct business with offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney is looking for a high-performing Project Manager to work across commercial office fit-out projects. The role is highly client-facing, with strong support and mentorship from an experienced leadership team. It suits someone who enjoys being involved from the earliest stages of a project, helping clients shape their workplace strategy and brand identity through their built environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and deliver commercial fit-out projects on time and within budget
• Translate clients' workplace strategy and brand vision into tangible design and construction outcomes
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted, long-term relationships
• Lead project teams, providing direction, mentorship and support
• Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery
• Drive programme, cost and quality outcomes across multiple projects
• Implement and use construction management systems effectively
• Ensure all works comply with safety standards, regulations and best practices

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Engineering or a similar field
• 3+ years' experience as a Project Manager within a D&C business
• Proven experience delivering projects end-to-end
• Experience or strong interest in workplace strategy and helping clients bring their brand to life through their space
• Strong leadership and communication skills, confident in a client-facing role
• Client-focused, able to build lasting relationships
