Project Manager – Construction

About the role

This Construction Project Manager role is with an established building and civil contractor operating across remote Western Australia. Based in Perth, you will lead ground‑up commercial builds, including a major new commercial facility and its ancillary works.

Key responsibilities

• Drive projects to stay within budget and timeframes.
• Manage new build projects from the ground up, covering civils, steel works and concrete packages.
• Oversee stakeholder engagement, attend site and client meetings.
• Plan, schedule and deliver projects through to handover.
• Lead subcontractors, procurement and site teams.
• Handle financial reporting, forecasting and cost control.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure WHS compliance.
• Maintain strong documentation and record keeping.

Required profile

• Tertiary education in Project Management, Construction, Engineering or relevant trades.
• Considerable experience delivering commercial new construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of steel works and concrete.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven financial reporting and cost management abilities.
• Process‑oriented with strong planning and scheduling capabilities.
