Project Manager – Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples

About the role

Aurecon is seeking experienced Project Managers to lead Defence projects across Australia. The role focuses on delivering outcomes safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards while supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects from planning through delivery, ensuring scope, cost, schedule and quality targets are met.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, Aurecon resources, consultants and contractors to achieve project outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, Defence representatives, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Manage project risks, issues, variations, budgets, schedules, documentation and quality requirements.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience leading people, coordinating activities, or delivering community or project outcomes.
• Experience managing small to medium‑sized projects and working in a matrix environment.
• Commitment to safety, WHS and continuous improvement.
• Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background is strongly encouraged.
