Project Manager – 12‑Month Contract (Sydney)

About the role

This 12‑month contract position supports a leading Australian enterprise undergoing a major transformation to an offer‑ and order‑based retailing model. The Project Manager will lead complex business and technology initiatives, coordinating multiple stakeholders, vendors, and delivery streams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex projects, managing scope, schedule, governance, budgets, reporting and milestones.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across technology, digital, commercial, finance, operations, loyalty and external partners.
• Manage project risks, issues, change control and executive reporting while maintaining momentum across workstreams.
• Facilitate governance forums, workshops and stakeholder meetings to drive decision‑making and successful outcomes.

Required profile

• 10+ years delivering complex technology, digital or business transformation projects.
• Strong experience in project planning, governance, stakeholder and dependency management, and executive reporting.
• Proven ability to deliver projects using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies.
• Experience working in multi‑vendor or systems‑integrator environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

What we offer

• Hybrid work model – 3 days onsite in Sydney, 2 days remote.
• 12‑month contract with a daily rate of $1,100‑$1,150 + GST.
