Project Leader / Senior Project Leader – Architecture

About the role

The practice is seeking an experienced Project Leader or Senior Project Leader to lead complex architectural projects from early design through construction. This senior permanent role offers ownership of major projects and collaboration with clients, consultants and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex architectural projects across all delivery stages.
• Manage project teams, resources, performance and multidisciplinary consultants.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee design development, documentation and construction delivery.
• Control project programmes, budgets, commercial requirements and quality standards.
• Identify risks and implement practical solutions.
• Mentor architects and emerging project leaders.
• Contribute to studio planning, business development and project strategy.

Required profile

• 10–15+ years of architectural experience in Australia.
• Proven track record leading major projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong client‑management and stakeholder‑engagement capability.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of project financials.
• Full working rights in Australia; registration as an Architect is highly regarded.
