Associate Architect – Sydney

About the role

The practice is seeking an experienced Associate Architect to lead complex projects in its Sydney studio, offering a collaborative environment and a clear pathway to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead major projects from concept through construction, ensuring design quality and delivery.
• Manage clients, consultants and key stakeholders, overseeing programmes, fees, scope and resourcing.
• Review design and documentation packages and resolve technical, delivery and coordination issues.
• Mentor architects and emerging project leaders, keeping projects commercially and creatively on track.
• Contribute to the wider strategic direction of the studio.

Required profile

• 15–20+ years of architectural experience, currently leading major projects.
• Strong local Australian project experience, especially within the Sydney market.
• Full Australian working rights and ability to manage client‑facing relationships.
• Commercial awareness with confidence in managing project fees.
• Australian architectural registration is advantageous.
