Project Governance Advisor (6‑month contract)

About the role

This contract position supports a Queensland transport infrastructure agency by providing governance, reporting and risk analysis for regional programs. You will work closely with senior leaders, steering committees and external stakeholders to ensure project decisions are data‑driven and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare agendas, minutes and reports for leadership meetings, steering committees and program boards.
• Analyse financial, risk and project data to inform governance decisions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards tracking risks, issues, budget performance, compliance and key metrics.
• Deliver monthly program, performance and risk reports using 3PCM software.
• Provide governance and reporting advice to project teams.
• Prepare information for Federal Government reporting and manage Indigenous reporting for the South Coast Region.
• Oversee reporting of Government Election Commitments for the Regional Program Board.
• Liaise with external stakeholders and support procurement and financial processes within departmental frameworks.

Required profile

• Current holder of a Class C driver’s licence with own vehicle.
• Willingness to undergo standard employment screening.
• Experience preparing and presenting agendas and minutes for technical meetings and boards.
