Project Engineer – Logan to Gold Coast Faster Rail

About the role

CPB Contractors is seeking experienced Project Engineers and Site Engineers to join the Logan to Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGC) project. You will support the design, procurement and construction of new rail tracks, station upgrades and related infrastructure, ensuring safety, schedule, cost and environmental targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement and construction activities for the assigned work area.
• Manage short‑ and long‑term construction planning, including submittals, start‑up planning and programming.
• Assist the Senior Project Engineer in preparing accurate monthly progress reports.
• Develop and monitor KPI and productivity analysis against program and budget.
• Demonstrate commitment to the SHE Cultural Framework and ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and company policies.

Required profile

• Recognised degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Relevant experience in construction or heavy industry, preferably on rail or civil projects.
• Proven experience delivering building or infrastructure construction projects.
• Ability to apply engineering principles to meet scope of works and technical criteria.
