Project Cost Controller

About the role

L3Harris is seeking a detail‑oriented finance professional to manage financial performance across assigned defence programs. The role involves forecasting, earned value management, variance analysis and customer reporting, acting as a key financial partner to program teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and manage financial plans, including earned value analysis and customer reporting for multiple contracts.
• Prepare monthly forecasts covering orders, sales, operating income, cash flow and working capital, and deliver variance analysis with actionable insights.
• Oversee Earned Value Management (EVM) processes, baseline planning, execution and estimate‑to‑complete updates.
• Provide financial input for audits, support WBS development and ensure compliance with internal policies and SOX requirements.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated with strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage across all levels.
• High attention to detail, proactive problem‑solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with moderate supervision.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Cobra.
• Strong Earned Value Management (EVM) expertise.
