Project Commercialisation Manager

About the role

Mondelēz International, a global snack company with brands such as Oreo, Cadbury, Philadelphia, Belvita, Ritz and Toblerone, is hiring a Project Commercialisation Manager (PCM) for its Head Office in South Melbourne. The PCM ensures projects are delivered on time, in full and to scope, managing key stakeholders so that timelines, scope, risks and issues are controlled.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with Consumer Marketing, Customer Development, Finance, RD&Q, Quality and all Supply Chain functions (procurement, manufacturing, customer service and logistics) to deliver projects within time, cost and quality targets.
• Lead cross-functional teams in delivering a coordinated set of projects that meet revenue, volume, growth, productivity and quality goals.
• Define project scope, goals, tasks and resource requirements (people and cost).
• Discuss with sites the actions needed to deliver commercial growth plans, such as capacity and capability additions, and coordinate the business cases supporting them.
• Help project teams find feasibility and sourcing solutions to deliver growth plans.
• Ensure risk assessments and contingency plans are defined, communicated and agreed, and acted on to keep projects on track.
• Drive consistent, high-quality execution using the appropriate methodology and tools.
• Report project progress through team meetings and monthly gating forums.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project management methodology.
• Experience planning projects proactively, identifying risks and mitigations and managing strict timelines.
• Ability to build effective cross-functional teams without direct management.
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence decisions positively.
• Conceptual and analytical skills, with a problem-solving approach.
