Project Architect

About the role

DKO is seeking an experienced Project Architect to lead high‑quality projects in its growing Brisbane studio. You will guide projects from concept through construction, ensuring design excellence and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects through all phases, from concept design to construction administration.
• Manage project teams, workflows, resources and delivery programmes.
• Prepare and oversee high‑quality architectural documentation.
• Coordinate consultants, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain quality control throughout design and construction phases.
• Conduct site visits and monitor outcomes against design intent.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Build and maintain strong client and industry relationships.

Required profile

• Registered Architect in Australia.
• 5–7+ years of experience within an architectural practice.
• Proven ability to lead and deliver architectural projects.
• Strong technical documentation and project coordination skills.
• Sound knowledge of Australian planning and building regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in industry‑standard architectural software.
• Experience across schematic design, design development, construction documentation and contract administration.
