Program Test Manager

About the role

A client of ManpowerGroup is looking for an experienced Program Test Manager to lead the testing strategy, governance and delivery across a large-scale transformation program. The role suits a hands-on leader with deep expertise in test management, quality assurance and automation, who can build robust testing frameworks and drive quality outcomes in complex environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end test function across multiple project streams, aligned with program objectives and delivery milestones.
• Provide hands-on leadership in implementing, optimising or upgrading test management and automation tools, driving best-practice processes and efficiencies.
• Establish and maintain test governance, including defect management, requirements traceability, risk management, release assurance and executive reporting.
• Develop and run test strategies covering functional, integration, system, regression, performance and user acceptance testing.
• Work with business stakeholders, delivery teams, vendors and program leadership to achieve quality objectives and manage risks proactively.
• Drive continuous improvement of testing practices, automation frameworks and quality management processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Program Test Manager or Senior Test Manager in large, complex technology transformation programs.
• Strong experience with Application Quality Management (AQM) practices and enterprise testing methodologies.
• Experience managing distributed testing teams, vendors and multiple stakeholders in enterprise settings.
• Desirable: previous experience in utilities, electricity, energy or billing; large-scale digital transformation, customer platforms, billing systems or OT programs; Agile, Hybrid and Waterfall delivery experience.

Required skills

• ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) and test management platforms.
• Test automation frameworks, with hands-on exposure to Playwright.
• Test governance, QA frameworks, defect lifecycle management, traceability and release readiness.
