Production Team Leader - Bakery

About the role

Tip Top Bakery Springwood, part of George Weston Foods, is expanding and is looking for a Production Team Leader to guide its high-performing production team. This is a permanent part-time position with immediate starts available, paid $35.20 per hour with weekly pay. The available shift pattern is Thursday (3am - 11:30am), Friday (7:30am - 6:30pm) and Saturday (5am - 4pm).

Key responsibilities

• Motivate and coach the team to meet production targets.
• Ensure food safety and product quality standards are consistently met.
• Champion a strong safety culture and safe work practices.
• Provide clear guidance, feedback and hands-on support.
• Work collaboratively across departments to drive results.

Required profile

• Experience in FMCG or a similar fast-paced environment.
• Confident leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A safety-first, results-driven mindset and the ability to lead from the front in a hands-on environment.

Required skills

• Computer literacy; SAP experience is a bonus.
