Production Supervisor

About the role

The Tip Top Springwood site is looking for a Production Supervisor to report to the Production Manager and coach and develop the team so that production targets are delivered safely and efficiently. Two roles are available, with different rosters.

Rosters:

• 6-month fixed-term: Wednesday 12pm-8pm, Thursday 3pm-1am, Friday 4pm-2am, Saturday 2pm-2am
• Permanent full-time: Sunday 2am-2pm, Monday 2am-12pm, Tuesday 1am-11am, Wednesday 1am-9am

Key responsibilities

• Set clear expectations for the team, provide the right resources and tools, and give supportive but challenging guidance
• Give open, honest feedback in the moment, recognising good work and addressing performance issues early
• Promote continuous improvement of products, processes and systems
• Work with supply, maintenance and planning teams to improve productivity and amend the production plan
• Maintain a safe and healthy workplace and ensure food safety, legal and quality requirements are met
• Support change and foster an environment where change is embraced

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• FMCG or other fast-paced production/manufacturing experience highly regarded
• Proven leadership skills and ability to prioritise workload
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders
