Production Support Specialist – AVP in Payments

About the role

You will join Deutsche Bank's Corporate Bank Production team as a Production Support Specialist in the Payments domain, providing 24x7 support for mission‑critical payment and FX platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate technical and operational activities across internal and vendor teams, ensuring service stability and risk mitigation.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, monitoring enhancements, and platform hygiene.
• Perform technical analysis to remediate performance and resiliency issues and manage incident/problem processes per ITIL.
• Maintain runbooks, operating procedures, and knowledge articles; support business continuity and disaster recovery testing.
• Lead vendor management, rota planning, and governance of team performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 8+ years in IT within large corporate or financial services environments, with extensive production support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and self‑management skills, able to work in virtual and matrix teams.
• Experience with Service Operations in a global context and familiarity with transaction banking is a plus.

Required skills

• UNIX/Linux, Solaris, Java J2EE, Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible.
• Automation tools (RPA, workload, batch), AI tooling for productivity.
• Databases: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL scripting.
• Messaging and container technologies: Kafka, Kubernetes, micro‑services.
• Monitoring: Geneos, Splunk, Grafana, New Relic; scheduling: Control‑M.
• Incident tracking tools: Remedy, Heat.
