Production Operator – Wash Line (Morning Shift)

About the role
The Wash Line Operator is responsible for running and maintaining the wash line machinery that converts plastic waste into clean, high‑quality recycled flakes. This role ensures smooth production flow, meets strict quality standards, and follows all safety procedures during the morning shift (7 am‑3 pm).
Key responsibilities
- Operate and monitor wash line process equipment to achieve efficient material processing.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the wash line to minimise downtime.
- Inspect washed plastic flakes and use testing equipment to confirm they meet quality specifications.
- Transport product bags and waste bins using an electric pallet jack or similar device.
- Follow all safety protocols and report any issues to the Shift Lead.
- Maintain accurate production records and log any discrepancies.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a similar manufacturing or production role is preferred.
- Strong safety mindset and willingness to raise concerns.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit for moderate to heavy lifting.
Required skills
- SCADA system experience (advantageous).
