Production Operator – Multi‑Skill Mining Equipment

About the role

BUMA Australia is looking for experienced multi‑skill operators to join its Blackwater team on a full‑time permanent basis. Operators will work on a fleet that includes large excavators, haul trucks, graders and dozers supporting surface mining operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment such as Komatsu 930E, Caterpillar 793/789C, CAT D10, D11, Fusion dozers and CAT 16M/18M graders.
• Promote and follow safe work practices to minimise risk to people, equipment and the environment.

Required profile

• Valid ST11 Coal Board Medical (preferably dated within the last 5 years).
• Transcripts or evidence of proven experience on one or more of the listed excavators.

Required skills

• Operation of large excavators (e.g., Komatsu 930E, CAT 793/789C).
• Operation of haul trucks (789/793/785) and water trucks.
• Operation of graders (CAT 16M, 18M) and dozers (D10, D11).
