Production Operator

About the role

Join CSR's AFS business at the Minto site as a Production Operator, working either day or night shift. You will support key production and manufacturing activities, ensuring efficient and safe operations in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate plant and equipment to meet daily production targets.
• Manually remove panels from conveyors and pack them.
• Manually pick and pack corner assemblies.
• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Monitor product quality, identify defects and document checks.
• Carry out basic troubleshooting and support maintenance activities.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Contribute to safety initiatives and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Forklift licence preferred.
• Strong focus on safety and doing things the right way.
• Good attention to detail and quality standards.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Mechanically minded with a practical, hands‑on approach.
• Reliable, punctual and a strong team player.
• Clear communication skills.
