Production Operator

About the role

Lactalis is seeking an experienced Production Operator for its Lidcombe dairy manufacturing plant. This full‑time, shift‑based role offers the chance to work with well‑known brands in a high‑standard environment. You will be part of a long‑tenured team that values safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Operate liquid rotary filling equipment to produce dairy products.
• Follow GMP and HACCP procedures to maintain product safety and quality.
• Monitor production parameters, record data and report any deviations.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Work collaboratively with shift teams and support overtime requirements.

Required profile

• Team‑oriented and self‑motivated.
• Willingness to work shift patterns and overtime as needed.
• Strong focus on safety and quality.
• Good lateral‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication, numeracy and literacy skills.

Required skills

• Operating liquid rotary fillers in a food‑industry setting.
• Experience with SAP for production reporting.
• Understanding of GMP and HACCP principles.
