Production Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Production Operator to join Bega’s Koroit site, a modern dairy manufacturing facility that produces a range of milk powders, butter, cream and other dairy products. The role is full‑time on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis, working 12‑hour day or night shifts with no weekend work required.

Key responsibilities

• Safe set‑up and operation of equipment on the retail and bulk butter packing lines.
• Report any safety, quality or environmental incidents promptly.
• Accurately complete and record quality, testing and production documentation.
• Work efficiently to minimise downtime and maintain line productivity.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support smooth operations.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and follow directions as needed.
• Willingness to work both day and night 12‑hour shifts.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
• Good communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Forklift licence (desirable) and experience in FMCG or a similar environment (desirable).
