Production Operator

About the role

Thales is looking for a Production Operator to join its Munitions teams in regional Australia. You will work on the manufacturing of propellants, explosives and munitions, supporting the delivery of high‑performance guided weapons and explosive ordnance systems.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine and repetitive manual tasks on the production line.
• Safely handle chemicals and raw materials used in product manufacturing.
• Maintain a safe approach while operating manufacturing equipment.
• Work collaboratively with team members, ensuring quality and adherence to established processes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar production or manufacturing role.
• Experience working in a team across various shift patterns.
• Commitment to safe work practices and compliance with security clearances.
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull, reach and perform repetitive manual tasks.

Required skills

• Safe handling of chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Operation of manufacturing equipment and machinery.
