Production Operator (Fill & Pack)

About the role

Nestle Operational Services Worldwide is looking for experienced Production Operators to support its Production team in the Fill & Pack department, based in Smithtown. This is a Level 2, full-time permanent position reporting to the Line Manager, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Focus on continuous improvement and structured problem solving.
• Help achieve line standards for production runs and the safety, 4M's (Man, Machine, Method, Material) routines.
• Promote a zero-injury, zero-defect, zero-waste mindset and support safety, health, environment and quality.
• Take part in Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) and Total Performance Management (TPM).
• Ensure all work meets quality, compliance, safety, reliability and cost requirements.

Required profile

• Reliable and flexible, able to work shift work.
• Enthusiastic about learning, with a strong focus on safety, quality and wellbeing.
• Good numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
• Good PC skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Technical aptitude and physical capability for manual handling.
• Commitment to GMP; a forklift licence is an advantage.
• Eligible to work in Australia with permanent residency; pre-employment checks, including health checks, are required.
