Production Operator - Coffee Mixes

About the role

Nestle Operational Services Worldwide is looking for experienced Production Operators to support its Production team in the Coffee Mixes department, based in Smithtown. The position is Level 2, two full-time permanent roles reporting to the Line Manager, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Focus on continuous improvement and structured problem solving.
• Help achieve line standards for production runs and the safety, 4M's (Man, Machine, Method, Material) routines.
• Promote a zero-injury, zero-defect, zero-waste mindset and support safety, health, environment and quality.
• Take part in Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) and Total Performance Management (TPM).
• Ensure all work meets quality, compliance, safety, reliability and cost requirements.

Required profile

• Reliable and flexible, able to work day and night shifts under 24x5 operations.
• Enthusiastic learner with a strong focus on safety, quality and wellbeing.
• Eligible to work in Australia and hold permanent residency; pre-employment checks including health checks are required.
• Strong preference for candidates with a high attention to standards and active engagement in NCE and TPM.

Required skills

• Good numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
• PC skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work with SAP and understand SAP transactions.
• Technical aptitude and physical capability for manual handling; commitment to GMP.
• Forklift licence is an advantage.
