Production Manager – Nanoparticle & Polymer Manufacturing

About the role

Ferronova is seeking a Production Manager to lead the scale‑up and optimisation of its nanoparticle and polymer manufacturing processes. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with R&D and production teams, you will turn bench‑scale methods into robust, regulation‑ready production for clinical use.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments to scale up nanoparticle and polymer synthesis.
• Develop reproducible, GMP‑compliant manufacturing methods in collaboration with internal teams and external consultants.
• Troubleshoot process issues, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed reports, characterisation data, manufacturing records and certificates of analysis for regulatory submissions.
• Write and maintain SOPs, Project Working Instructions and ensure strict adherence during production.
• Maintain GMP laboratory compliance, including environmental monitoring, disinfection and safety inspections.
• Support procurement, installation, qualification, calibration and verification of new equipment.
• Conduct risk assessments for safe chemical handling, storage and disposal.
• Coordinate with CDMOs and supply‑chain partners to transition processes toward commercialisation.

Required profile

• Masters or PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Hands‑on experience in nanoparticle and polymer synthesis and analysis.
• Background in a regulated manufacturing environment (pharmaceuticals or medical devices).
• Strong understanding of cGMP and ISO 13485 requirements.
• Proven ability to solve complex process‑engineering challenges.
