Production Manager (Manufacturing)

About the role

Tyrone Group, a commercial construction business that manufactures precast concrete products and components, is looking for a full-time Production Manager (Manufacturing) based in Balcatta, Western Australia. The role covers overseeing plant and equipment, planning production and leading a small team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the acquisition and installation of new plant and equipment
• Plan production activities in terms of output quality and quantity, cost, time available and labour requirements
• Monitor production output and costs, and adjust processes and resources to minimise costs
• Determine, implement and monitor production strategies, policies and plans
• Monitor performance and provide training and mentoring
• Lead, roster and support a small team to meet daily targets
• Report on operations and escalate issues to senior management

Required profile

• Bachelor degree or higher qualification; at least 5 years of relevant experience may be accepted in place of the formal qualification
• Relevant experience may also be required
