Production Dozer Operators (2&1 and 2&2) - FIFO Pilbara

About the role

Karlayura Personnel is recruiting experienced Production Dozer Operators for ongoing FIFO opportunities at Fortescue (FMG) mine sites in the Pilbara, Western Australia. The agency seeks skilled operators with proven open-pit production mining experience who are confident operating CAT D9, D10 and D11 dozers in busy mining environments.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CAT D9, D10 and D11 dozers in open-pit production mining environments
• Perform bulk pushing, pit floor clean-ups and bench preparation
• Carry out dump maintenance, stockpile management and material movement
• Maintain haul roads, ramps and mine access areas
• Work safely around large production dump trucks, excavators and other heavy mining equipment
• Conduct daily pre-start inspections and report equipment defects
• Follow all site safety procedures and operational requirements

Required profile

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in open-pit production mining
• Proven operating experience on CAT D9, D10 or D11 dozers
• Experience in bulk pushing, dump maintenance, pit floor preparation and general production mining operations
• Current C-Class driver's licence
• Current National Police Clearance (mandatory)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and equipment care
• Previous FMG, Rio Tinto, BHP or other major production mining experience highly regarded; civil construction experience alone does not meet the requirements
