About the role
Join Harris Farm Markets, a growing fresh food retail business, as a Production Assistant. You will prepare, pack, weigh and assemble fresh products for sale, ensuring orders are delivered on time.
Key responsibilities
- Weigh, pack, label and price product accurately to specification.
- Maintain a steady production line pace, keep the workstation clean and avoid bottlenecks.
- Manage raw material stock, pick stock for store allocation and maintain the cold chain.
- Identify and remove non‑conforming items to uphold quality standards.
Required profile
- Reliability, attention to detail and pride in doing the job right.
- Good communication skills and ability to run multiple admin tasks in parallel.
- Interest in food and willingness to learn.
Required skills
- Basic understanding of good manufacturing practices and food safety requirements.
- Basic knife or hand tool skills.
