Production Assembler - Electronics Manufacturing

About the role

An industry leader is looking for a Production Assembler for its brand-new site in Banyo, Queensland. You will assemble, check and test high-quality electronic products and equipment in a fast-paced, quality-focused team. The role starts immediately and runs through the end of the year, with permanent transition to the Banyo site by late January 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Build products and circuit boards using clear build instructions and diagrams
• Check finished assemblies with standard test equipment
• Check dimensions and keep simple records of completed work
• Troubleshoot minor assembly issues with supervisors
• Maintain a clean work area and follow safety procedures such as "Take 5s"

Required profile

• Experience in a similar field is highly desired
• Good mechanical aptitude and comfort working with detailed components
• High standards for quality and pride in clean, accurate work
• Strong commitment to safe working habits
• Ready to start immediately after pre-employment requirements

Required skills

• Experience with electronics assembly
• Ability to hand-tool and power-tool carefully, and perform basic equipment checks

What we offer

• Pay of $40.00 per hour plus superannuation
• Training and assembly work at the Fountaindale facility in Sydney while the Banyo site is finalised
