Procurement Officer, Specialist or Lead – Various Levels

About the role

ASC is seeking procurement professionals at all levels to support a growing pipeline of high‑impact projects across the submarine and defence sector. Roles include Procurement Officer, Specialist and Lead, working on corporate services, technology, capability delivery and qualification testing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes: planning, sourcing, evaluation, contracting and supplier management.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to define requirements and develop procurement strategies.
• Lead or support tender processes, negotiations and contract establishment.
• Maintain supplier relationships to drive performance, outcomes and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with governance, probity and ASC procurement policies.
• Contribute to category strategies, commercial outcomes and risk management.
• Identify and implement improvements to procurement processes and systems.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement, sourcing, contract or category management.
• Exposure to indirect procurement, corporate services, technology or project‑based environments.
• Experience in highly regulated settings such as qualification testing (ICQT) is highly regarded.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capability, especially for Lead positions.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across complex environments.
