Procurement Officer

About the role

Transport for NSW is seeking a Procurement Officer to lead end‑to‑end sourcing across a diverse portfolio of goods and services. You will work from the Burwood or Macquarie Park sites, partnering with stakeholders to deliver compliant, value‑for‑money outcomes for the people of NSW.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing for a wide range of goods and services, ensuring compliance and value for money.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to plan and deliver procurement initiatives, providing advice on sourcing, contracts and supplier engagement.
• Manage risk, governance and supplier interactions to secure strong commercial outcomes.
• Drive efficiency and continuous improvement by streamlining processes and enhancing the customer experience.

Required profile

• Strong procurement, sourcing or contract management experience, preferably in the public sector.
• Excellent communicator who builds relationships and translates data into clear insights.
• Results‑driven with strong data‑analytics capabilities and experience in spend analysis and procurement reporting.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Collaborative and committed to delivering compliant, value‑driven results.
