Procurement Officer for Water Infrastructure Project

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Procurement Officer to join the Binduli Reservoir project team in Western Australia. You will work closely with the Manager Commercial and construction teams to secure materials and services, ensuring timely delivery for this critical water storage infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the timely supply of materials and services to the project.
• Run expressions of interest, quotes and tenders for sourcing packages.
• Shape sourcing strategy to manage commercial and contractual risk.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to deliver best value.
• Assess contract terms, conditions and amendments for supply packages.
• Analyse spend and supplier performance to cut cost and lift value.
• Monitor contract compliance and resolve deviations promptly.

Required profile

• Procurement experience on large civil construction projects.
• Understanding of tendering, probity and contractual risk.
• Ability to build ethical working relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• Clear and persuasive communication with project stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel for spend analysis.
• Experience using procurement software.
