Procurement Manager – Australia & New Zealand

About the role

INTEC Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the procurement function across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Global Head of Supply Chain, you will shape regional strategy, build a high‑performing team and ensure the right suppliers, materials and equipment are secured for large‑scale renewable energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the AU/NZ procurement strategy, operating model, governance and processes for multiple projects.
• Build and lead a regional procurement team while leveraging shared services in the Philippines.
• Lead strategic sourcing, tendering and high‑value negotiations for equipment, materials, services and subcontractors.
• Manage commercial and contractual procurement risks in partnership with Legal, Commercial, Finance, Engineering and Project Delivery.
• Strengthen supplier performance, improve supply‑chain resilience and identify cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• 8+ years of procurement experience in infrastructure, construction, energy or major projects, with senior responsibility.
• Proven ability in strategic sourcing, tendering, negotiation and delivering measurable commercial outcomes.
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding, including EPC obligations, bonds, warranties and back‑to‑back requirements.
• Experience building and leading procurement teams in a growing or changing organisation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to collaborate across functions, countries and cultures.
